Another tour of the Big Tent and a very sunny warm day.

Where are we today ?
clic on a pic to enlarge it
It was 34 f outside when I got up at 4:3o this morning. yup it was chilly out there. Major frost on the car.. But toasty warm inside here once I fired up our Mr. Heater and furnace for a few minutes. Mr. Heater takes over and we good to go. Got a nice walkabout done then we headed off to do one more tour of the big tent today. At 9 am. No crowds and lotsa parking at this time , now we can talk to some vendors and take our time, checking things out.
no crowds today in the early morning
Then home for a light lunch and relax for the rest of the day. Noticed that the BLM is having some interesting seminars at the Ramada ( Pavilion) just down the road on Thursday. We may take in a few. Check out the schedule below.
could be fun
Now the rest of out day was puttering around and enjoying our e-readers in this amazing sunny day. Shorts, t-shirts and sandals are in order. Only 54f but with the sunshine and no wind was wonderful.
love the cloudless blue sunny skies
Today was Happy Hour at our house, 3 pm as usual. People arrived and even more, we had a great bunch here flapping our gums, sharing stories and conversation going everywhere.
The extra people today was Lorne Greene and Susan (hosts this year for Bloggerfest), Rick and Kathy as well as good friends Denis and Sandy.
yup we had too much fun
 and lotsa laughs
Sandy teasing Clemson
Then as they all left to do their thing and the sun was beginning to set, time to fire up our Weber Q.
Tonight an easy meal grilled a couple of amazing smoked pork chops from the Quartzsite General store to add to our usual tasty salad.
these chops are amazing
so moist and tender
what a feast we had
That was it our day is done, now to just kick back and relax for the day after all this fun and fresh air. Got over 3 miles walking and feels amazing.
     Thanks for stopping on by

  7. You're right, George. 54 does feel warm when it is sunny with no wind. I like it this way when I'm hiking. Able to stay cool and not overheat.

I'm going to buy me some pork chops and try cooking them on the grill this next week. Did a steak and that worked out okay. Time to try something new. Before you know it, I will be hosting happy hour.

    1. It was a very nice day, cooking in the grill is a wonderful way to enjoy making an evening meal oh so tasty.
Happy Hour can be wherever you like, all you need is people and refreshments, snack are not necessary in our opinion. Its all about the conversation.
