More cabinet making, break fast casserole, a feast of wings and playing in the pool.

Where are we today ?
At 7am off to the Home Depot again for a bit more wood trim to finish off our Cabinet doors today. Then off to the shop to put a few things together, the other door and some trim work. Back home by 11 am to whip up a breakfast casserole for our lunch.
Easy to do and very tasty, its been a while and we sure enjoyed it. For the recipe click HERE or my recipe blog on the top of the right side bar. Today a smaller portion but still enough for 4 people we will have leftovers.
ready for the oven
about 40 minutes later
did the trick
After lunch back to do a bit more cutting and fitting, then took Suzie to visit her mom while I picked up a few groceries. Just waiting for the glue to dry overnight and can get back at things tomorrow, couple coats of varithane and then the final install.
in the shop ready to install

tv stand and dvd player cabinet too.
just need the doors.
even a spot for out console catchall
That was another fun day and elected to go the 3 blocks to the Trail's Edge in town, Wing night and their wings are exceptional. They are huge and .89 cents each, certainly will be taking some home. Wings for breakfast and lunch?
nice on their patio, watching the town drive on by
what a feast and as always bring my own suicide sauce,
nobody makes it hot enough for me
Back to "Camp Awesome" to join daughter number 2 and the grands in our host, John's wonderful heated pool.
thats me with the almost bald head
The skeeters were bad here tonight, but tolerable when in the pool. Damp weather, overcast and gonna rain tomorrow. Normally not too bad during the day.
Any who, that was our fun  day hope you enjoyed yours too.
Thanks again for stopping in we enjoy your company.

    1. Thanks Leslie.
Farmer's sausage are pork sausage with various spice flavours , like garlic, Italian etc... similar to your saveloy or British bangers.

  2. Cabinet is looking good, George, nice job. Breakfast looks great, I have done a similar. Hmmm, no way to do that on Weber? I would have to learn in my new convection oven! Pool looks great too!

I could have done it on the Weber Q but was in a hurry, so just popped in the oven.

  6. You're doing a great job on your cabinet. You'll be so proud of it when you finally get it all together. A pool sure makes a nice place to cool down on a hot day. Enjoy yourself.

    1. IU am always happy with the projects that I do, not so much anymore with the rv, but do enjoy it.

  7. A job well done with that nice, new cabinet. If you remember the Red Green TV series, the host would always end the show with the phrase, "If women don't find you handsome, they should find you handy." I think Suzie clearly finds you handy. I can't say what she thinks about the handsome part cause she never told me....and I never asked. LOL

I hate mosquitoes.......more than you can imagine. Living on the west coast means we don't ever have to deal with those pesky critters.

    1. Don't know about handsome , but have always been handy, love fixing and making things.
We hate mosquitoes too, not usually to many around where we camp here in southern Ontario. Camp awesome can get pretty nasty at times. Day time no problem usually.
