Rainy, cool, no wind, and that's ok.

Thanks for joining us on our journey of North America
in our Holiday Rambler, since August 2006

Where are we today ?

A good nights sleep, nice and cool and some rain overnight, so nice and comfy, rain on the roof , love it!  Up early as usual, coffees and  computing and a walkabout, in  the rain this morning.

Just checking out the resort and it is pretty nice, our kinda place, nothing fancy and lotsa green grass, huge sites, trees, playgrounds, nice cabins to rent, not too busy, even entertainment and outdoor stages.

But it was cool and it rained all day, so did not do too much. We kinda enjoy these days, research on the internet, pick up a few groceries, read for a while (wish we could nap in the afternoon, but that's not something we can do) and before we know it was time for supper.

Tonight some steamed snow crab, fresh broccoli, baked potatoes and fresh baked buttermilk biscuits did the trick quite nicely.
Supper did the trick today
Did manage to chat with a couple friendly neighbors while outside, nobody friendlier than rv'ers that's for sure.

After supper there was some live Bluegrass music at the clubhouse, but was still raining pretty heavy so we passed and just snuggled in for the the night. Would have been nice without the rain but no problem we can do what we want, warm, dry and relaxing works today.

  1. The park looks pretty nice. There's a lot in that area for you to check out. I know those snow crab legs didn't come out of a local lake in Texas but they still look good.

The snow crab legs were in our freezer, can't remember where we bought them, but a good day to cook inside.

  3. Yep, we like going to sleep with rain hitting the roof, it sounds so nice. We've been lucky though because any rain that we have had lately has always been at night and the days have been gorgeous. Hope you have better weather today!
