Sun. June 19th Happy Father's Day

Join us as we travel North America in our
Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August 2006

Today is a good day to appreciate our fathers or for some of us to remember some happy memories of those who have passed on. Sunshine, computing and a walkabout, free breakfast at the clubhouse for all the father's in the park from 8 to 10 am. pancakes and sausage. But I'm not a big fan of pancakes so instead of a free breakfast we left at 8 am and drove to Quehls of Tavistock to meet with 16 family members, at 9:30am and celebrate with Suzie's Father.

A full breakfast menu or a nice breakfast buffet did the trick, now we are good for the rest of the day.

After breaky we went to visit niece Roslyn at the rental farm house where they will stay until the completion of the new house they are building in Shakespeare, after a job transfer back to the home area. We had a nice visit with great nieces, the youngest being Ciana at 6 weeks old.

Then time for the drive back home to the Resort, relax in the warm shade and enjoy a piecefull sunday afternoon reading our books and chatting, uninterrupted. Most of the weekend people had all packed up and gone home.

Early evening came and we are not real hungry so just fired up the barbie to grill a couple hot dogs for nice light snack. Read a bit more then Nicole dropped by with two of her children to see if we had a battery for their smoke detector, (of course we did) and bring me a hand colored Father's day card.

Thanks for all the Happy Father's Day wishes!
